Datenschutzerklärung — Last Updated: October 2026
1. Controller Information (Verantwortliche Stelle)
This Privacy Policy explains how LoL Player ("we", "us", or "our"), operating via lolplayer.eu, collects, processes, and protects your information when you use our website, applications (Android, iOS, Smart TVs), and backend activation services.
For any data privacy inquiries or requests under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO), contact us at:
2. Scope: LoL Player as an Independent Media Player
LoL Player is purely a client-side media playback application and device manager. We do not supply, host, broadcast, or sell any media, television channels, or video streams.
Users independently supply their own playlists or third-party Xtream Codes credentials. Streaming connections occur strictly point-to-point between your client device and your chosen media server.
3. Information We Collect
We believe in strict data minimization (Art. 5 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO). We only process technical data essential for license management:
- Device Identifier (MAC Address) & Device Key: Used exclusively to identify your physical device, calculate trial days, and verify your active subscription license.
- Encrypted Playlist Pointers: When you upload a playlist via our web portal, your playlist URLs and credentials are stored strictly using AES-256 military-grade encryption in our database so no unauthorized party can read them.
- Technical Logs: Server logs temporarily record IP addresses, timestamp, and HTTP status codes for system stability and DDoS mitigation. Logs are automatically rotated and purged.
4. Payments & Financial Information
All payments for 1-Year or Lifetime licenses are processed securely by our certified PCI-DSS Level 1 payment processor, Stripe Inc.
LoL Player never collects, stores, or sees your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV code. Stripe transmits only an encrypted confirmation token and checkout session ID to activate your device license.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (DSGVO / GDPR)
- Contract Fulfillment (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO): Processing your Device MAC and Key is required to activate and maintain your trial and paid subscription license.
- Legitimate Interests (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO): Server security, prevention of abuse, and platform stability.
6. Your Rights under GDPR (Ihre Rechte)
Under the European General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:
- Right of Access (Art. 15 DSGVO): Request confirmation and details regarding what device records we store.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten", Art. 17 DSGVO): Request immediate deletion of your device, playlists, and associated records. You can also delete your playlists directly from the Web Dashboard at any time.
- Right to Rectification (Art. 16 DSGVO): Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to contact a supervisory data protection authority in your EU member state.
7. Data Security & Encryption
We employ modern industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS 256-bit transport encryption across all endpoints and AES-256 database-level link encryption. Access to server infrastructure is strictly restricted with cryptographic keys.
